Marianne Laine was licensed to practice law in Texas and admitted to the Texas Bar in 2008. Ms. Laine is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the Eastern District of Texas, and the Southern District of Texas. She received a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2001 and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2007.  Ms. Laine began her career working as a term law clerk for (now retired) United States Magistrate Judge Earl S. Hines, then as a career clerk for United States District Judge Marcia A. Crone. After leaving the Court, Ms. Laine spent four years at Clark Hill doing admiralty/maritime and product liability defense work. Ms. Laine has experience in a variety of case types, including personal injury, admiralty/maritime, product liability, and employment discrimination. Ms. Laine has represented plaintiffs and defendants at the trial court level as well as assisting clients with appeals and mandamus proceedings.
