David E. Bernsen Honored During Gift of Life Program’s Champagne & Ribs Event

The Bernsen Law Firm is proud to share that founder David E. Bernsen was recognized during the Gift of Life Program’s 2026 Champagne & Ribs event, an evening dedicated to celebrating prostate cancer survivors, honoring those currently fighting the disease, and raising awareness for men’s health.

Held annually in Southeast Texas, Champagne & Ribs brings together community leaders, survivors, supporters, and advocates to raise funds that help provide lifesaving screenings and education through the Gift of Life Program.

As a prostate cancer survivor, Bernsen was honored alongside other survivors during the event in recognition of his journey and continued commitment to the Southeast Texas community.

“It was an honor to stand alongside so many courageous survivors and supporters,” said Bernsen. “Organizations like Gift of Life make a real difference by increasing access to screenings, educating our community, and encouraging early detection. I’m grateful to be part of such a meaningful evening.”

Beyond his legal career, Bernsen has long been dedicated to serving Southeast Texas through civic involvement and charitable organizations. The Bernsen Law Firm is proud to support the Gift of Life Program and its mission to improve access to breast and prostate cancer screenings, education, and healthcare resources for those in need.
